History

In the year 2006 Dominic Meier (guitar) and Benjamin Kottmann (drums, vocals) founded Intractable in Sursee (Lucerne). After a while Michael Schuler (bass) and Markus Hospenthal (guitar) joined them to complete the band.

In the meantime 18 songs were written and rehearsed. Intractable toured the stages of Switzerland since December 2009, from the small club shows up to bigger venues supporting such acts for Gyrd, Warbringer, Skeleton Witch and many others.

After the release of their first self-recorded demo CD 'First Eruption' in spring 2010, the band went into the studio to record their first album 'Inner Decay' which was released in December 2012.
