History

Sikario is a death metal band from Santiago (Chile), which was formed in early 2005 as the fusion of two bands of a group of friends (Diabolical Interventus and Mausoleo Grotesco).

The same year Sikario recorded their first, self-titled demo, which consisted of three songs that moved between death metal and thrash. Later, after some lineup changes the band worked on new material for an EP, and to find their own sound.

The year 2009 is released debut EP 'The Elegant Merciless Revenge of the Being' for free download (and MCD sold at shows). This EP shows a closer approach to the fusion of different influences of the band. Thanks to the good reception of the audience, the band focuses to work on the first LP.

In late 2010, and after changes in the lineup, Sikario prepares a preview of what would be their debut LP. This new EP, 'The Human Nature' is released in mid 2011. The same year the band announced the title of their debut album: 'Noocracy' .

'Noocracy' saw the light in 2012 and shows a great evolution in the sound of the band. An album of 12 songs that move through different musical influences with really devastating sound. The album was reissued by Australis Records in May 2013.
