History

In 2011 Zvartus and Helmouth formed Paara. Now the duo has grown from duo to a full lineup. The experience behind Paara is vast, although the members aren't that known in the black metal scene. Still the heart that beats in their chest is as black as their music.

Paara has only released a self-titled digital single as a duo. Today is the beginning of a new era, as they have begun recording the drums for their, yet unnamed, debut album. The album will be released in May 2015. To celebrate the release Paara will be performing live around Europe.

The style and theme will be following the melancholic, bleak and complex yet raw output of the previous release. Stories of Finnish poltergeists (what the word "paara" means; also "ghost"), myths and the darkest of ages from the centuries past - sung in Finnish.
