Tsar Bomb
History
Tsar Bomb is an extreme metal band based in the city of Malaga, in southern Spain, which was founded in 2009 with the idea of creating fast and aggressive black/death metal. Since its inception the band has undergone numerous lineup changes, a fact that has prevented the holding of concerts and making recordings.
The first release from the band was an EPin 2012, titled 'Tsar Bomb'.
In 2012 their debut full-length 'Neowarfare' was released through the American label BadGod Music (actually called Cimmerian Shade).
In 2013 they perform some shows around Andalusia and participate at a festival in Barcelona, sharing the stage with bands like Enthroned and Benighted.
After a long break and new line-up changes, at the end of 2014 they record their second full-length, hopefully a big step in the career of the band. Titled 'Exterminans IX:XI', the album is out on Cimmerian Shade Recordings in September 2015.
Tsar Bomb's philosophy revolves around the modern and contemporary warfare concepts, referring to the most powerful weapons of destruction created by the hand of man. It's essentially nihilistic and misanthropic thought advocates the complete disappearance of the human race, as evidenced by their letters imbued with hatred and aversion towards life spiced with references to various mythic archetypes and a classic Satanism such feelings of rejection power to everything human.
