Monstrath
History
The oldest written language we know, spoken by the people of the extinct Sumerian civilization, cuneiform alphabet, no connection to any other language currently spoken, comes the idea of the name of this project. Monstrath. Suggestion of a friend, that in order to know their origins, he studies their ancestors. Monstrath is a demon lineage Enki, or "demon", rather feminine, less popular than others but as powerful as all combining perfectly with the sound mass of the band.
In the band's words: "We created a reality, we open the doors, now we struggle to drive out our ideas and demons. We were not parked, we live a fight that never seems to end looking for healing and balance, we are the cause of all our suffering. There is no point to ask for help if you do not want to help yourself. Do not live waiting for better days, for nothing will fall
from the sky as you are comfortable in this hell he built for himself."
Out of synthesizing their ideas came Monstrath, powerful riffs, death metal influenced by the 80s, bled by the speed of J. G. Lugger (guitar), shredded by lacerating picks of Morales Elmano (bass) and furiously pouring every word of every sentence by the singer Loi Trejo. Taking place in early 2016, located exactly at 23 ° 10'44 "S, 45 ° 53'13" W, the initial idea was an elaborate and angry work. After much discussion and meetings the line is drawn, of course with help of current technology, the reality began to change after a few auditions. The drummer Niko Teixeira completed the band.
