Arturius
History
Gothenburg band Arturius release a colourful album of big impact symphonies entwined with heavy guitar riffs. With a collection of material that will appeal to a wide audience it is no wonder that their first single is already being played on
radio rock stations.
Arturius was formed 10 years ago and started out with a more traditional rock edge. However, after their initial years the band decided to evolve their hard rock sound to include more symphonies and transitioned into the power metal genre where they have grown and matured.
The band is made up of talented musicians who have all performed for many years in a variety of other bands. The most well known of the band is possibly
their lead singer, Apollo Papathanasio, who in 2016 released his first solo album 'Waterdevils'. He was also in the bands Spiritual Beggers, Firewind, Masquerade and Majestic.
Arturius released their debut album 'Spirit of Evil' in August 2017. It consists of inspirational numbers, which will draw you in on an acoustical journey, with the character of the big classic film scores.
