Abductum
History
Spanish thrash metal band Abductum was founded by guitarist Noël Puente. It all started in the end of 2010 with the help of two friends and great musicians Francisco Molero (bass guitar) and Mario Jiménez (drums) from others old common local bands. After only a few practices and rehearsals, the band is coming up with some impressive material: Their music is built upon old influences of the most pure thrash and heavy metal sounds.
Lyrics contemplated universal themes of arcane mysteries, extraterrestrial, ecology, etc. Javier Puente joined the band as a vocalist. The band recorded two demo songs for intenet release, which were given outstanding reactions.
After live show debut and frequent club gigs (playing with others known well bands like Brazilians Violator, Croatians War-Head and others renowned Spanish bands too) the band entered Granada MusicProject Studio in summer of 2012 to record their first autoedited full-length 'The Unrevealed Truth' released in 2013, all the work illustration and the awesome album cover artwork created by the guitarist and illustrator Noël Puente.
Abductum appear on the two 'True Metal Lives' compilations (from United States) 'Doorway to the Unknown' and 'Another Cup of Evil' with many great metal bands from all over the world. In 2014 Javier Puente left Abductum, leaving Noël to play guitar and also sing. A new man, Kike RodrÃguez Urquiza joins the band as a second guitarist.
Abductum entered the Kbyo Studio in November 2015 to record the second album, titled 'Behold the Man. It was released in September 2016 via Art Gates Records, agains boasting Noël's art.
