Thargos spawned from toxic waste in the middle of the last decade. Maybe these waste puddles were some winos, who had drank some contaminated booze and melted, as in the movie 'Street Trash'? And those winos were German thrash metallers, who had fallen victims to evil alcoholocaust.

Thargos sound as German as possible. To put it short: true thrash metal in vein of masters Destruction. Sharp catchy-as-fukk riffs and rabid vocals with a bit overused shrieking in the end of every verse are very similar to Destruction's. The guitars are very playful, shooting barrel-loads of riffs towards a listener, with nice and insane solos that tend to get stored in beer-bloated brain of any thrasher. The punky black metal part of Thargos come mainly from lyrics, which are partly quite naive and partly okay, but there's some blackish metal thrown in, and when it happens it's Impaled Nazarene style rapid mayhem. Thrash metal is Thargos's thing and they should stick to it, as songs like 'Release Him from Earth' and 'Black Mass' get trampled over in seconds by beasts such as 'Those I Killed', 'Natural Selection', 'Godz of Black Metal' and 'Fukking the Hellfukked' (4 best ones here). Those good songs lift 'Killfukk' above averageness. Thargos haven't molested Exodus classic 'Bonded by Blood', but fuck those drums!

The best Thargos listening experience can be achieved when drinking beer. Sometimes 'Killfukk' sounds, when considering about the production, so bad you want to kind of balance out the bad sound with brain malfunctioning. There is no lower end to speak about on 'Killfukk'. The guitars and vocals sound good, organic and raw. The drums are shite, partly sounding machine ones. Or actually not just "sounding" bad, since drummer is mentioned to perform both analog and digital ones. Faster parts make sound yet more thinner. Balancing is changing throughout the album; the production is wobbly. Cover art is lame and no lyrics are printed.

Destruction maniaxxx should try Thargos, and other German thrash fanatics should do it too, especially if you're harking for fast shit. And do not forget them beers when you bring this album home!
