Miseria are a nice band mixing different styles and sounding quite individual. They are also a nice band if you're a boy; there's 3 beautiful girls in the band. Anyways if he's straight. There's two boys for all the others to admire. Anyways, let's go into 'Lost Forever' now, before it gets too weird.

Despite being quite melancholic, Miseria aren't solely a goth metal band. There is punchy heavy metal, which is more extreme than on previous one. Still the music is very melodic and also very catchy, partly due to the fact that the song writing is quite straight. Miseria is metal, but at times not far from hard rock. Dramatic keyboards are an important part of the music. There's both female and male vocalists. Female vocals have their unique touch into them, but aren't powerful. Male vocals are also individual, meaning the clean ones. Guy is able to move fast from lower to higher tone. However, at times he reminds me of some pop singer to tell the truth. Some "obligatory" generic grunts can be heard, too. This time around the songs are quite similar, every one of them quite fast.

Now the band work together really well. Gone are the demo era's child's diseases and now the music rolls on nicely. If the band have honed into a tight unit, the sound is also good, actually album quality. Not too polished, but keeping an organic edge.

This kind of melancholic yet catchy metal go well over for Finnish people, as bands such as Sentenced (newer), Lullacry and To/Die/For have proved. Not really music I listen frequently, but it's clear that Miseria are individual and powerful enough to join with them now.
