Long-wanked Finnish porn grindsters Inferia released this mini-CD back in 2004, after over a decades work. During the long career, the band have found their own small niche. These shortish, fastish and brutal blasts fall somewhere in between Poland's Squash Bowels (I didn't pick this band just for the sake of it, that they toured with Inferia...) and England's Napalm Death's latest three studio full length albums (from 'Enemy of the Music Business' [2001] to The Code Is Red... Long Live the Code' [2005]). It's riffs, brutal skins beating, loud bass and quite deep growled vocals (no lyrixxx printed, so there's yer porn then). Nothing new in the world of grindcore, but still well created brutality, only the variety of the material is pretty much tenuous and song's aren't very catchy (do you really go for grindcore to find some soothing melodies, eh?!). Punky, yet metal, thanks to the moderate inclusion of death metal influences, because that's where the band comes from anyway.

The band's performance is good and tight like a virgin butthole. Ripping guitars tear that butthole and pounding drums and rusty bass make it bleed. Drummer might not be Kai "Octopus" Hahto, but handles his set very well. Sound is of demo level quality, a tad fuzzy, but not in a raw kind of way.

'Explosive Copulation' is worthy enough to be inspected by all grind fanatixxx out there. This mini-CD is sold out regarding to the band's website, so happy hunting.
