This is Severe Music's second output and might be the only one ever to appear from Jesuslaceration. So, what is going on with this one then?!
This is black metal, death metal, heavy metal thrown together. No bad alchemy in my ears. If any individuality is searched for, it can be found in the way how the different styles are binded together. This is all fairly well performed with a good enough sound quality, even though it doesn't punch. Good opener reminds me of The Crown, but is not as tight nor skillful as the Swedes are. Next ones have Swedish death metal influences in vein of Unanimated (especially on 'I See...') and Finnish wackos Impaled Nazarene (songs # 3 and 4) is haunting there, too. Quite catchy material, in general, with some tasty passages and such things.
Song titles are, at least, very curious. Two songs about Finnish warrior mentality, one song about some Mayan or some kind of spiritual shaman-shit and a song about something, heh. Well, probably I've totally misunderstood the real meanings, but there's no lyrics printed. Growling isn't brutal enough, but believe me, I've heard a million times worse efforts. Hoarse throat is what is used. One can even understand some words, actually.
Even though this has nothing new to offer, it is mildly entertaining listening and should be grabbed by those who seek weirder metal releases. What else can I say?! A bit too short, maybe.
