What kind of a name is Napoleon Skullfukk?! Well, it's fucking eye-catching or what? And fucking unique. The same can't said about the band's music, because these young-ish fellas grew up listening to Death, Morbid Angel, Autopsy, Obituary and Cannibal Corpse, and they cooked their own brewage of these influences.
Mid-paced death metal is the name of the game. The band stick to simplistic methods. That makes their stuff feel very advancing with tight riffage and pounding drumming. So, it is Obituary that raises as the biggest of the influences. Vocals are pretty one-dimensional low growling, but they definitely fit into the heavy death metal music. There's not much in the vein of surprises during this torture session, but Testament-esque guitar solo on 'Human Flavour' serves as one.
Anyways, the beauty of this lies in the brutal riffage, heavy and pounding rhythms and the catchiness of it all. As this sounds good with all the instruments well-audible, and being heavy as heck, Napoleon Skullfukk's skullfukking, neckbreaking material is served with style.
