This has to be one of the worst recordings I have EVER listened to. This is so horrible that even Farhan Shahid, the man behind Comatose Cadaver wanted to burn all copies of this tape. I wasted a lot of my free time to get his discography (those who frequent the NTR forums may have read about my 99.9 attempts). The other 2 demos and the EP that this uber "kvlt" band has released are alright, but this demo is an abomination, plain and simple.
First off, where the fuck are the drums? Apparently the band used programmed drums, but I can't hear anything but a series of dry clicks. The guitars completely drown the drums. I mean, completely DROWN them! You can't hear anything but the series of dry clicks I just mentioned. And the riffs themselves are awful. Every riff here feels like it has been stolen from Deicide's self titled. Hell, the one and only riff in 'Head-Hunter Coalition' is the same one from Morbid Angel's 'Visions from the Dark Side' (the tremolo riff that comes in at around 20 seconds)! The last song on this demo, 'Masturbating with a Knife' is the worst song here. It drags on at a lethargic pace for 3 minutes, with the bass feeling completely out of tune and in a different time zone. Actually, that's the problem with the bass on the entire demo! It doesn't fit the music at all and feels like it is 3-4 seconds ahead.
The songs have no coherent structure and every song contains just 1 riff, no joke! The drumming on the entire demo is the same, and the guitarwork and riffs don't go along well, which I already pointed out. The only time the music actually feels coherent is when the vocals kick in, but that only makes the music 10 times worse! The "growls" here are the WORST death growls I have EVER heard in my entire life. I put the word "growls" in quotes because these aren't really growls. The vocalist, Farhan Shahid, is just making some wierd noises with his mouth and he sometimes sounds like a mutated duck.
Awful. My words can't really describe this, and you have to hear it to believe it. Then again, I wouldn't exactly advise anyone to listen to this. Cringe-worthy "death metal".
