Another German band, that churn out old school thrash metal. Vocals, guitar and drums are handled by Tankred Best, the guitarist and ex-drummer of Witchburner. Bass is played by Tony Skudlarek, who was in Witchburner in 21st century. No need to mention, that Witchburner also serve the same dish?

'Exorcism' is the third thrash assault from Conspirator. Closest point of comparison are Kreator. So it is vicious for sure, but Conspirator spice up things with good ol' heavy metal, which means mid-paced parts, headbangable riffs (not neck snapping, as opposed to thrash riffs, hehe) and flattering melodies. 'We Came, We Saw, We Destroyed' is groovier Yankee thrash, and 'The Game' is more rocking piece of metal, like thrashers fucking with Motörhead. The vocals are between normal voice and growl, and I mean at one time, sometimes in more death metal way than thrash. All in all, the song writing is generally good, but never awe-inspiring. Anyways, an enjoyable mixture of German thrash and heavy metal.

The production is shit! It's very trebly and has a digital feel to it. The guitars are decent, but the digital production wreck the drums, which sound too machiney. And if that's not bad enough, then there's a lot of fluctuation in sound "qualities" between the songs. Sometimes something is a bit louder, or then the drums sound even more machiney etc. Plus, something has gone wrong, because there's constant electric crackle going on. As I said, the production fucking sucks of goat balls!!! The cover art is apt, but don't wait to see lyrics printed. The playing could be much tighter sometimes, especially when the drums start to drag or something.

If you consider picking this up, which I would recommend, if you want to hear some German thrash and heavy metal united, then remember to pick up a lot of beer too. And bratwurst and sauerkraut. Horrible production values can be blotted out with alcohol invading your brain cells. Or you can make it more bassy by sticking those bratwursts... No, not down there, but in your ears! Well, every self-respectable thrasher buys beer without supervising...
