On this 3rd CD-r EP, Vihaliha (something like "hate meat" in English) continue with the style they are known for; humorous grindcore. Well, probably humorous to guys themselves. But for 'Rotten Flesh', the band have managed to create some memorable moments. Something like songs, actually.
'Tight Chokehold' begins as porn funk or something before exploding into cacophonous hyper-speed grind at the end. There's fast grind explosions after more "normal" music happen on many other songs, too. 'Behind Your Window' is longest and most complete as a song, and not a bad one either, but 'The Bleeding' is as shit as music can get. Fucking annoying song, simple as that! 'Perfectly Perverted' is more like a sound collage, than a song.
The band creates bass and drum tracks with a computer, I guess (editor's note 10/18/05: the bass is actually played by Frank, who is a human being). That's why beats are so inhumanly fast. Inhuman are the shrieks of vocalist, too, who is accompanied by low growler. Lyrics are mostly about killing, of course.
Definitely the most "musical" of all Vihaliha releases (well, haven't heard that split with Frenesis, but of all EPs anyway), and also most accessible. Are Vihaliha getting more mature?! Well, don't know about that, but they just got better.
